Ride for Rox is an annual bike ride in celebration of the life of Roxanne Richard.

2025 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

LOCATION: 1500 General Mouton, The Empanada Guy!

PARKING: Emapanada Guy field, The Prop Shop and more

CHECK-IN will begin at 7am

STARTING TIMES: All rides start 8:00 AM. You can start and finish anytime you like, but please note that our awesome volunteers will be leaving the course by 1:00pm.

SAG STOPS: There are 1 to 3 SAG locations depending on routes will pass them twice.

LUNCH PROVIDED: SAGS and Beverages Provided by Coca-Cola, Clear Springs & Schilling Distributing

RIDER SAFETY PLEDGE:

If you have an emergency on the road, IMMEDIATELY call 911 and then the Support Team.
Please ride safely and follow all traffic signs and signals.
Please be courteous and respectful to other riders.
Please ride in single file when a car or truck is behind you.
Do NOT ride more than two abreast, in accordance with Louisiana law.
Do NOT be a road hog. Yield to other riders trying to pass you.
Ride as far to the right as is practical, except when making a left turn, or when going straight at a right turn only lane.
Wear your helmet at ALL times while on your bike.
Do NOT ride before daylight or after dusk without proper lighting.
If you have to stop for any reason, please get completely off the road so you do not put other riders in danger.
Do NOT remove or eat any road kill.
