If you love Festivals Acadiens et Créoles as much as we do then you will love the Tour des Atakapas race! Celebrating our Cajun & Creole heritage is important to maintaining our culture in South Louisiana. The run is a joint coordinated project between T.R.A.I.L. and Festivals Acadiens et Créoles. The run raises money to invest back into the parks and recreational facilities in our community and Festival Acadiens et Créoles.

PACKET PICK-UP
Friday: Geaux Run (906 Harding St. Lafayette, LA) 11-5pm then at the beer booth in Girard Park 5:30-7:00
Saturday: Festival Acadiens et Creole’ TRAIL beer tent (Scene Ma Louisiane) in Girard Park 11:00 - 6:00pm
Sunday 901 Wilson @ Corner Audubon - 7:00a-7:50a
Race Day: Sunday, October 13th
Starting/Finish Line: CORNER OF AUDUBON & WILSON in the Oil Center. (Use 901 Wilson for GPS)
BOAT DROP-OFF @ 1500 General Mouton (The Empanada Guy) - 6:30a-7:45a
Starting Times: Duathlon @ 8am, 6K & 9K @ 8:10am
Awards & Post-event Fête/Party: 9:45am

Paddlers will have the option of doing the paddle solo or in tandem with a partner. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are all welcome. Registration for the race includes: Finishers’ Medal, Bib, Gift Certificates, Post-race meal & Beverage
